Request Site Removal

If you own or represent a website listed in a public Web Reveal scan report and want the page reviewed for removal, please email jared@webreveal.io.

What to include in your request

  • The exact report URL (for example: /scan/your-domain.html)
  • Your relationship to the site (owner, authorized representative, or legal contact)
  • The reason for your request
  • Any supporting details that help us verify and process it quickly

For faster verification, include evidence of authority (for example: an email from a domain-based address, a DNS TXT verification token, or equivalent documentation showing authorization to act for the domain owner).

How Web Reveal scans work

Web Reveal reports are based on factual observations of a site's public-facing technical configuration (for example, detected frameworks, tags, headers, and infrastructure signals).

Our scanner analyzes static, publicly accessible code and HTTP response data only. It is not designed to intercept user behavior, chat interactions, or personally identifiable information.

Review, verification, and SLA timelines

  • Acknowledgement SLA: within 2 business days of receiving your request.
  • Verification SLA: within 5 business days once sufficient ownership/authority evidence is provided.
  • Decision SLA: within 10 business days after verification, including whether the report is retained, updated, restricted, or removed.
  • Implementation SLA: approved removals or restrictions are applied within 2 business days after decision.
  • Complex matters: if legal complexity or missing records prevent completion in these windows, we will provide an interim update and revised expected timeline.

Disputes and appeals process

If you dispute an initial decision, reply to the decision email with "Appeal" in the subject line and include any additional evidence.

  • Appeals are reviewed by a separate reviewer where feasible.
  • We acknowledge appeals within 2 business days.
  • We issue an appeal outcome within 10 business days after receiving complete appeal information.
